Night of the Werepony (My Little Pony Fanfic)

It all started as a beautiful afternoon in Ponyville. Lightning, a techno Pegasus, was walking around happily when suddenly he bumped to Fluttershy. "Oof, oh I'm sorry ma'am I didn't see..you there" He said when he saw Fluttershy then started to blush a bit. "Oh Fluttershy I'm sorry are you okay?" "Yes I'm fine b-but I've drop my groceries." The shy mare said. "Well I'll help you pick it." Lightning then picked up the groceries and give to her. "H-here you go." "Th-thank you." said Fluttershy with a small smile. "Y-you're welcome. Is there anything else I can help you with?" He asked politely. "Well my arms are tired so-" "Okay I'll carry them." He interrupted before she could finish. "Oh okay." She hooves over her groceries to him and walks to her home while Lightning carries them.

   A few hours later after buying more groceries they arrive at Fluttershy's home. "Well here we are thank you so much for the help." "Anytime Fluttershy." As Fluttershy opens the door and Lightning walks inside. "Wow you sure do love animals." Lightning says impressed. "Yeah I love taking care of them because they're just so cute. It's my talent." "Well I can see they love you. A lot." Sees some animals come to her and hug and kiss her, but sees her bunny Angel a little bit under the weather. "Hey uhh what's wrong with him?" "Oh no Angel!" She shouts softly as she felt his head. "He feels warm. I need to get some of his medicine." She flies over to her medicine cabinet and get the bunny medicine and then get a spoon and pours some but the bottle is empty. "Oh no I've run out of Angel's medicine, but." "But what?" said Lightning. "The medicine is from the pet store, but it's closed at this hour." sees the clock saying 8:15 "and the only place to get a medicine is from Zecora in the *gulp* Everfree Forest." she said it scared. "And it's too scary at night to go get it." "Don't worry I'll go and get it." said Lightning. "Y-you can't the Everfree Forest is too dangerous at night. It-it's okay I'll just go to the pet store in the morning." "No, you don't have to I'll go in and get it quickly. It's not a problem." Lightning said. "W-well okay. Since Angel needs it now." she said. "Alright I'll be back in a few minutes." Lightning walked out the door and headed into the Everfree Forest.

   Entering the Everfree Forest, Lightning tried to look the way for Zecora's hut. "Now she should be close by around here." He searched for about 10 minutes then he finds her hut. He walks to the door and knocks on it. Zecora then opens it. "Dear colt of white, why you have to me this late at night?" Zecora asked. "Uhhh I was running an errand for Fluttershy. See her bunny Angel is sick and she ran out of his medicine." "I see, won't you come in please." She opens the door and welcomed him in. "Thanks." Lightning said. "Just go ahead come right in. I'll go and get you Angel's medicine." She then goes into another room and prepares Angel's medicine. Few minutes later she came with the medicine and gives it to Lightning. "Thank you so much Zecora." He then runs out the door and heads back to Fluttershy's house. "Beware this late at night. For there are creatures who might just give you a fright." But it was too late.

  Lightning rush on back but then got tired half way. "Okay I've got the medicine all a need to do is go back. But which way is back." He said a bit nervous. He walked a round a bit and tried to find the way back when suddenly *snap of a stick* "What was that!?!" He said scared. He then tried to walk away but then he heard another noise. *a swift shadow ran left of Lightning* "O-okay. Wh-who ever is out there please come out." He slowly tried to back away from what was haunting him then a rustle came from the bushes. He look where it came from and slowly and terrified walked to the bushes. "H-h-hello? I-is anypony there?" He looks more inside the bush and then a mysterious shadow attacked him and sank it's fangs on his neck. "G'AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" Lightning screamed in pain and fear as he also drop the medicine then soon the shadow ran into the deep forest. "What the buck was that thing!?!" Lightning was left bleeding and injured, but then he got up, picked up the medicine and continued walking in pain to Fluttershy's home.

   Lightning soon arrived to Fluttershy's house a few minutes later. Lightning knocked on the door, then Fluttershy opened it. "Here's Angel's medici-aaaaahhhhhh." "Oh my Celestia you're bleeding!!" Fluttershy is shocked. "N-no don't worry about me. I'm fi-aaaaaahhhhhh." He closes his eyes holding in the pain. "Hurry in I must help you." Lightning walked in and laid on the couch. Fluttershy quickly tried to fine the first-aid kit and came back to him. "Oh my what happened to you!?" she said scared "I-I was attacked." "By what?" She asked as she opened the first-aid kit and got the bandages. "I-I don't know. All I remembered it was big and it had fangs." "I'm just glad that it didn't kill you." She then grabbed some medical lotion and placed on her hoof. "Now this might sting a little." She placed on the wound. "Nggggggggghhhhh!" Lightning shut his eyes and tried not to scream of the pain. Fluttershy then placed the bandages on the wound and then tried it up. "Thank you so much for your help uhhhhh." "Lightning" he said. "Well thanks for the help Lightning." She said then smiled and kissed him on the cheek. He blushed with a surprised look in his face. He then responded "You're very welcome Fluttershy. And thank you for caring for me." Fluttershy blushed with a small smile and said. "Y-you're more than w-welcomed to stay for the night. Ummmm i-if you want to." "I'd be more than happy to." Lightning said.


 Later that night while FLuttershy is asleep, Lightning was tossing and turning in his sleep making some odd noises like growling. "Nnnnnggggghhhhh grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr aaaaaaaahhhhh." Later in the morning Fluttershy was up making breakfast while Lightning was still asleep. He then smell the wonderful cooking then woke right up. "Mmmmmmmm breakfast." He then got off the couch and came into the kitchen. "What're making Fluttershy?" "Pancakes and daisies." She replied. "Mmmmmm-mm my favorite." he said "Well somepony is feeling better." She was happy to see him better but is still worried looking at the wound. "Yeah never felt any better thanks to you." She then serves Lightning an herself breakfast. Lightning started to chow down strangely while Fluttershy takes small bites. "You very hungry aren't you?" she said to him. "Yeah." He kept on eating his breakfast and then finished. Fluttershy strangely looked on how fast he finished his breakfast. "Well thanks for the breakfast it was delicious." He then placed his dish in the sink and left.

   While Lightning was walking around Ponyville he seems to have a new attitude. He was walking around when Dumbbell and his cronies walked past by him and pushed him for fun. "Hey watch where you're going!" Lightning shouted to Dumbbell. "And what are you gonna do about it Frightening." Dumbbell and cronies laughed. Lightning growled. "Is that a challenge!?" He came to Dumbbell's face. "Whoa step away from me. Your breath smells really bad." He laughed again. Lightning then grabbed on to him and forced him up against a tree. "Do you really want to pushed it!?!" Dumbbell scared. "Whoa whoa o-okay dude! Calm down! I-I'm sorry! Lightning then let go of him and he ran off scared he then looked at Dumbbell's cronies and then they ran off when he looked at them serious.

    Throughout the day he was acting very strange and aggressive, but later at night when he went to bed, at his house, Luna raised the full moon and Lightning was feeling strange. He then woke up. "Uhhhhhhh oh no." He rushed into the bathroom feeling awful. He looked at himself in the mirror and turned on the water. He washed his face but he was still feeling strange. Then he was feeling pain in his head which grew more and more. "AaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! He was walking around breaking stuff. The he saw himself at the mirror with wolf-like green eyes. Wh-what's happening t-to me!?!?! The lights were turned off and he went into his bedroom. Crying in pain he starts to grow fangs, ears turn wolf-like and his bones start snapping. His fur grew longer and turned from white to grey and then he finally grew a bit bigger then a normal pony. He became a werepony.

 The werepony destroyed the house from the inside and then left roaming in Ponyville. He landed on the ground and then he let out a howl. He then ran around frightening the citizens. Then the werepony went off to Sweet Apple Acres. He was causing so much ruckus that it scared Apple Bloom. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! Screamed Apple Bloom. Then Big Mac and Applejack rushed into her room. "What's wrong Apple Bloom?" asked Applejack. "I heard a loud noise. I-I think is coming from the barn!" she said terrified. "Well don't worry we'll check it out." "Eeeyup." Applejack and Big Mac went to the barn and saw a shadow figure. "Alright you come outta there and nopony gets hurt!" Applejack said. Lightning stared at her and growled. "I-I'm warning you!" Applejack shouted a bit scared. Then Lightning ran for and attacks for Applejack but then Big Macintosh hit him before he could hurt her. Panting in fear Applejack saw as the creature ran off. "Th-thanks a lot Big Mac." "Anything for my sister."

   Lightning then ran off to Fluttershy's house, where he scented chickens which he wanted to feast on. He then went to the chicken coop and scared the chickens. Fluttershy hears her chicken's cries and woke up. "What's going on over there?" She got up from her bed and rushed to check with her chickens. When she arrives to the coop she slowly checks and is terrified to see a creature eating her chickens. She saw extremely terrified and tried to back away from him but while she was trying step out, she step on a wooden step that made a loud creak. Ears from the werepony lifted up and the glowing green eyes looked at her "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" said Lightning. She was so frighten that she ran back into her house, but the werepony broke the door opened as he slowly came towards her and went for an attack. She ran around avoiding as much as she could but then she wounded herself. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" She went all over the house as the werepony destroyed everything. And then she was cornered by a window that showed the moon's light. The creature slowly approached her at the light. She closed her eyes and cried thinking this was the end of her. But then her crying stops the werepony from killing her. He looked at her and remembered about Fluttershy. Then he just looked at her wounded. Fluttershy saw the werepony in the light and had the face of horror surprise. "L-Lightning?" The werepony look at her in fear and the he stepped away from her and ran off in tears. "Lightning wait!" she followed him.

   The werepony ran into the Everfree still crying until he was in an area that was so beautiful with a little lake. He came upon the lake and saw his reflection. He saw a monster with bloody fangs, cuts, and bruises. He thought to himself, "Look what I have become. I'm a monster I scared everypony." Then he heard some rustle in the bushes behind him and saw that Fluttershy has followed. "L-Lightning, wh-what h-happened to you?" She step closer to him but he just stepped away from her. "D-don't be scared. I-It's j-just me. Remember?" She then stepped to the monster and nuzzles on his chest. He looked at her surprised. "It's okay. I'm not gonna hurt you."  She then gives him a kiss and he blushed. Then he nuzzled back to her with apology look. "Shhhhhhh it's gonna be okay. I forgive you." Then another rustle came from the bushes. Lightning quickly looked up to see what it was then came out several timber wolves who look aggressive and growling at him. Lightning growled at them back to tell them to keep away. The Timberwolves stepped closer and stopped and looked at Fluttershy. Lightning saw that they were staring at Fluttershy then he stepped in front of her lowered his head showed his big fangs and gives out and aggressive look. They then came out for an attack, but Lightning fought back. Fluttershy looked in horror as she see Lightning fight the timber wolves. Some bit onto him but he then bites them off and send them flying towards the trees and shatter to pieces. He bit back and send them flying into trees, but they just kept rebuilding themselves and went back to fighting more. Lightning was get beat in the fight but then he got up and delivered the final blow on them. They then ran away and Lightning was victorious.

    Fluttershy came out of safety and came to him and was happy that he won. He looked at her but when he tried to walk he collapsed to the ground. Fluttershy got scared and ran towards him. He was heavily breathing and was terribly wounded. "Oh no you're terribly wounded!" She looks at him. "Don't worry. I-I'll heal you a-and you're gonna be alright y-you're gonna be happy with me." Seeing that there's nothing she can do for him she started to burst into tears. "N-no you're gonna be fine you're gonna be fine!" Lightning just looked at her and then started to slowly breath and he started to closes his eyes and give out his last breath and then he turns back to normal. "N-no no no no! P-Please don't leave me! Please come back!" She cries on him. "P-Please. I-I love you." She keeps on crying as the dawn rises.

    When morning came the birds started to sing and the light hit Lightning. He twitched his eyes and then started to breath. Fluttershy looked up and saw him breathing again and he opens his eyes. His vision first come out blurry but then come out clear. He saw Fluttershy looking at him. "F-Fluttershy?" "Lightning." She hugged him tight and refused to let go. "Wh-what just happe-" Fluttershy kissed him in the lips and he blush big with a shocked face but then hugged her back and enjoyed this romantic moment. He then got up from the grass and saw this beautiful part of the Everfree Forest. "Wow this place is beautiful." They both looked at this beautiful place. "But not as beautiful as you." said Fluttershy to Lightning and kissed her again.

    Then it came to their wedding day in the beautiful lake in the Everfree as they came down the aisle everypony cheered and threw rose petals to them. And soon they rebuild a home right beside the lake and they live happily ever after.
